What started as a personal hobby in June of 2006  to  make items made of fiberglass materials, Mr. Dominador L. Fabrigas invented and developed a contraption called intravenous wrist splint and intravenous foot splint to be used as support to immobilize the wrist during intravenous insertions. Such inventions were duly patented and being served to about 25 hospitals to date, under the sole proprietorship business called Fibercast Enterprises.

The year 2009 came and the company called Bodycast Corporation came into being when a group of enterprising persons pooled their resources to mass produce the products using plastic as the material of choice since fiberglass material takes quite sometime to make. This move made it possible to distribute the intravenous splints nationwide and tap the export market in the near future.

Bodycast Corporation will also be in the market for immobilizers for orthopedic applications and will continue to develop and improve other contraptions
